DCCCA, Inc. is the parent agency for the Regional Prevention Center (RPC) of East Central Kansas. The RPC acts as a catalyst to reinforce messages that promote positive behaviors for youth and adults and to encourage all individuals to lead a healthy and productive life. Efforts are concentrated in drawing together all community resources to prevent substance abuse, teen pregnancy, violence, juvenile delinquency and school drop-out.

Jen Brinkerhoff, Director

Jen began working for the RPC in April 1999 as a Prevention Specialist and took over the director position in June 2001. She also is the coordinator of the Lawrence Special Alcohol Program Fund grants as well as a member of the Kansas Citizen’s Committee on Alcohol and other Drug Abuse. Jen is originally from Ottawa and is a graduate of Kansas University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education.

Chrissy joined the RPC in January of 2000 as an intern and began working as a prevention specialist in April of 2000. She graduated from Emporia State University in May of 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion. Chrissy serves Douglas, Franklin, Jackson and Jefferson Counties. She resides in Eudora with her husband, Justin and two daughters, Mackenzie and Campbell.

After working for four years in DCCCA's Evaluation Services branch, Kelli joined the RPC in May of 2008. Kelli works with communities in Atchison, Brown, and Doniphan counties. She is a Lawrence-area native, where she now lives with her husband, Lowell, and daughter Ruby.
